Have your dentures fallen victim to a stray piece of popcorn or a sticky pudding? There is a better way to get repairs for your dentures!

Lethbridge residents choose Black and Gilmore Denture Clinic Ltd, where we handle repairs to cracked, chipped and broken dentures.

Rebasing is required when the teeth of the denture have not worn out to the extent of the denture base. It is simply retrofitting dentures by replacing the base with new material. As a result, you will have a stable denture without having to replace the entire appliance.

Relining is a procedure that reshapes the base of the denture. Because the entire base does not have to replaced, relining your dentures is generally less expensive.

Relines are required when your gum tissue has reshaped over time and it will not change the appearance of your current denture.

Repairs may be required after certain damage from regular wear and tear or trauma occur. It is important to never try and repair or alter dentures yourself.

How long have you had your dentures?

It is inevitable that your mouth and dentures will change. In order for you to get the most value from your dentures including optimum fit, function and appearance, we recommend replacing them every 5 to 7 years.

If you experience any issues in the meantime, we would be happy to assist you by relining, repairing or rebasing your dentures!
